Help with MCS on 02 with Bose, not programmed for Bose

Does the display say Stereo or ST when a strong FM station is tunned. I never see any indication that the station tunned is stereo vs. mono
Today at dealership I asked them to check it out, the unit was not programmed to Bose the output was set to normal (non Bose). After changing it to Bose there was a huge difference in sound specially base, but still no indication of stereo.
If you have any doubts please have the dealer check it out also now when the unit is powered up it say powered by Bose

On a side note there is a Vinyl cleaner by ZEP which you can't buy from regular auto stores I got a can from Smythe (tech cleaned door pannels with that and its amazing will take out scuff marks very easily) it is $6, worth it next time you are at dealership ask for it.

I also have factory BOSE on my '02 and I do not get a "BOSE splash screen". What did your dealer have to do to activate BOSE? Thanks much. [8)]

Anyone else out there doesn't have the "Bose" show up on the MCS display? My 02 is Bose equipped and everything seems to work but I don't get the Bose indication on startup.
