ATTN gusmeister: Removing '02 center storage

Here's how you can do it:

1. Remove the two plastic screws from the sideof the compartment facing the front.
2. Use a small screwdriver to pry up the pop rivets in the bottom of the container. You can also push the pop rivet center all the way through, but good luck finding it again!
3. Remove the two Torx screws holding the top armrest in place.
4. Using two flat screwdrivers, push in the horizontal cuts in the felt container. While doing this, pull up on the center armrest. You're pushing in on two retaining clips that hold the armrest in place.

You should now be able to remove the large storage compartment below the center armrest by pulling straight up. There should be a small rectangle scored into the bottom of the armrest for you in the driver's side rear corner to feed the wires through. Let me know if you have any questions. Note that you may want the center cupholder closed for this, taking out the felt box may damage the open cover if you're not careful (I doubt it, but you never know).
