Last week I completed my 60K service. The bill was $849 but did include a set of rear brake pads.
Anyhow, yesterday when I was leaving work my check eng. light came on. The vehicle continued to perform normally tho. So I pulled into the dealership which is a few blocks away and let them check the codes. The fault was in the left oxygen sensor after the catalytic converter. There are 4 O2 sensors - 2 before cc and 2 after. Since the 'after cc' sensors don't affect the ignition, the dealer reset my light and told me to come bak if it happens again. They quoted about $300 to replace it. I asked if the sensor is easy to get to and he said yes that I could do it myself actually. The part is somewhere around $175 or so if I remember. Anyone else experience O2 issues? - JPS
