ok so i had this car shipped from California...and the check engine light was on but the dealer said it would be ok to drive it...so i drove it that night driving from Long Island to Connecticut...it was fine...but today...there's this weiiird grinding noise...n the car stalled on me...ugh...i have NO form of transportation for 3 days...anybody have any idea what it might be??
Had the vehicle been towed - even for a short distance during shipping? And if so, was it towed on all fours or carried on a flat-bed truck? Towing the ML on it's 4 wheels will cause damage to the gears, transmission...etc. The owner's manual specifies using the flat-bed trucking method when transporting the ML.
I assumed your Ml is still on warranty because it 2000 model.. Take
It to the clossest dealer and demand a loaner from them. BTW did you managed to reach your destination?
