So my power steering mechanism decided to explode..

So I was about to pull into a parking spot and then suddenly I hear this snapping sound and then the steering becoming extremely tight. So I manage to maneaveur the car into the spot and get out only to discover a massive pool of hydraulic liquid on the ashaplt and more of it splattered all over the front of the car as well as inside the hood. COOL! So I call up my rep. at Beverly HIlls Ltd and tell him that Im coming over pronto with a car with no power steering. So I drive to beverly Hills on COldwater Canyon Blvd (no easy task) and deliver the car. The rep. tells me that the earliest that the car will be ready is next Wednesday because of LAbor Day weekend. So im not too happy at that point but the New E class Loaner he gave me free of charge calmed my frustrations a bit. SO three hours later I get the vall from my rep. telling me my car is ready. Wow what service. Thats my story for today.

Just another testament to how good Beverly Hills Ltd is, at least to me.

Good to hear that it was fixed...

I bet what you heard was a clamp coming off the hose and the hose disconnecting under the pressure of the fluid. They probably replaced something and made sure everything was tightened, assuming that they didn't touch the pump.

Glad to hear that you were pleased with the service!

If they gave me a new E, I would have said that I was too busy to pick up my car and that I would get it on tuesday and enjoyed the new E all weekend!

When you hear the new HK system in the '03 E-class, then you'll reconsider that. 420 watts, 12 speakers, 8 channel sound system with active noise cancellation. [:0]
