Holds primarily MSRP and service history info. It may be accessible from the Web but you will likely need a dealer login and PW.

NetStar is the system which dealers use to obtain ordering information and such about vehicles, not what they use to obtain the service history on a vehicle.

available to other dealers. Factory recall info/repair is available. I do not know what databases are available for warranty repairs-there must be something because parts replaced under warranty only have a one year warranty.

have the service history included in the back of the report. I am not sure if every dealer participates though. I found this out when shopping for a used 2002 ML320. All of the Netstar reports I received from dealers across the US had service notations, even for cars that they did not sell new. The one I purchased also had service history notations at the bottom of the Netstar report. It had service notations from Park Place Motors in TX but I bought it from Plaza Motors in MO.
