Skyview Wind Deflector....is this the receipe?

I called MB of Oakland and got prices for the following parts:

163-793-00-88 Deflector = $165
163-793-01-04 R Support = $37
163-793-02-04 L Support = $37
163-793-01-55 R cap = $27
163-793-02-55 L cap = $27
163-793-00-98 Seal = $34
163-990-11-01 Screws = $2.75
_________________________________
Subtotal = $329.75
CA Tax = $ 27.20
Total = $356.95

Are those the right part numbers for the SkyviewWind Deflector (the bigger deflector...from roof rail to roof rail and not the regular sunroof wind deflector)?

Alex...

Buy the Yakima noise reduction piece + the fairing. It should help to reduce the noise considerable. If you're thinking of using the Skyview roof deflector to reduce the noise, I don't think that it will work too well since it is too far forward on the roof (unless you place your front crossbar right behind it).

Just ordered from Clairparts....total is $280 plus shipping and then some...

Also ordered the following from PP:

Manik Taillight Guards Stainless Steel = $141.95
EGR Dustguard = $54.48
CA TAX = $13.75
Shipping = $13.95
_________________________________________________< br> Total for PP = $224.13
Total for Clair = $280 plus shipping (ups ground)
_________________________________________________< br> Spent around $524.13

Dang....I'm sure glad I don't have a real girlfriend! hahaha....

Alex...I'll post pics after installation. You may want to follow Drew's advice as those fairings from Yakima or Thule works wonders according to people that have them. He also suggested that I get them, but I wanted the skyview deflector because I think it's more integrated with my ML. Well, my next upgrade is the roof racks from MB....clair has them for $259 and MB of SF has them for more than $350. I think somebody on this forum said the OEM roofracks are more aerodynamic than yakima's and thule's....?
The MB are Thule ...

There is only a difference in that you can get what are referred to as rapid rails. Other than the ability to put on and take off faster I don't think there is much difference in the aerodynamics.

David..Check your e-mail

I sent you the parts recipe and installation instructions for the skyview wind deflector. I'm glad you found it. I just got my Thule 754 roof racks... boy, are they nice. They are very aerodynamic and there is unnoticable wind noise even with the skyview roof open. I paid $180 for the pair. They are black and came with the locks. My ML is black and this integrates nicely with it. However, the silver color of the MB's roof racks would look nice with yours. What is the website for PP? I want the EGR dustguards --no-one is calling my ML a minivan anymore!!!

Thanks Drew!

Let me know what needs to be done to the Bi-Xenon wiring to get the halogens to work as soon as you get a chance. I think everyone is waiting for your post.......

Thanks again
