The dealer replaced the sunroof shade today due to it sliding forward quite easily during moderate to hard braking. It did not solve the problem, but now I get a thumping sound when closing the sunroof from the raised position, and we get lots of wind noise with the sunroof closed. It sounds like they may have left off a seal or something in the rear assembly of the sunroof.<br> <br> I see on the front there is a felt-like strip where the sunroof rests. I wonder if there is something similar at the rear?
Actually I noticed that I have that thump too, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything bad and is still sitting in place. I'll mention it the next time I'm there (next Tues) and keep you posted.

A: A landmine only messes up your car once :)<br> <br> My wife took the ML in today, and she said they adjusted the sunroof and it is ok - I will probably take it for a spin tonight and see how it is.
