Autocom diagnostic tool

Anyone own, have experience with, or know any information about this scanning tool. Autocom CDP Pro-Auto com CDP - Online Shopping

Hello,I'd be interested in this myself but the advertising seems vague on it's capabilities.Is it run through a laptop and then your data is displayed?I'm not sure.Also I see a cables option for $56 and a software version choice.Maybe we can see a you tube video on it.

I have been researching this for weeks and you are right things are vague. The extra cables seem to be needed for obd1 use. It's difficult to find a diagnostic tool for euro and domestic that includes abs and transmission codes. I haven't found one I am confident in purchasing yet. I know innova does not make one I have spoken with them directly.

No handheld scanner will read M/B 3 digit codes; only high end scanners will. But an Innova scanner will give you everything else but.

I will post some screenshots tomorrow when I have the software loaded up... its actually very comprehensive and shows live data and records data too.

Another tool which is good for mercedes benz is Launch Diagun:

I also have MB Star DAS/Xentry but I don't use it often as the Autocom/Diagun usually gets the job done.

I actually bought an autel maxidiag elite 802 on amazon for 280.00. It's good reads all modules including trans srs and abs domestic and foreign. Thanks

Can you elaborate on what you have been able to do with the Autel Maxidiag Elite 802? I've got an SRS light and intermittent BAS/ESP and ETS on my 2000 ML320. I also am wondering if it can read transmission fluid temperature as I will be draining/refilling my transmission. I also have a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T that I would like to use it with and perhaps other cars for my other family members.

Well I was looking for handheld scanner a couple mos. I already owned a regular scanner for yrs and it will read engine codes on my ml. I bought this scanner because it will read all modules like trans abs srs traction control etc. it also gives live data and freeze data from when code was set. Don't know about trans fluid temp. Autel could answer specific questions though I'm sure if u contacted them. Hope this helps. Most scanners that advertise reading European models don't read all modules so they will tell u if u have bad o2 sensor but nothing about other systems like traction control abs etc

Can the autocom can erase SRS code and transmission codes?

I did not purchase autocom but got autel 820 as noted above and does erase all module codes engine trans has srs etc
