Anyone? It's a 99 ml430 btw. Any other info I can provide to help? I really want to repair this myself. I hoping its an 02 on bank 1 but if anyone could chime in that would be great.

I should also mention that it sometimes idles a little rough (minor hunting). But sometimes it idles beautifully. It has plenty of power and no hesitation that I've noticed.

it looks that ur O2 sensors are bad, which is normal its a 1999ML..
p.s..u need to fix it before u get ur smog test.

every collision changes the speed and direction of both molecules involved

Do you know what code P1070 means? It's not for the O2 sensors. They have their own specific codes.

Engine 113 diagnostic manual. See p 11/14 then 11/36.

(I'm saying that the code is not specifically for the O2 sensors. That does not necessarily mean your O2 sensor is good. Sometimes parts go bad and don't cause a code.)

P.S. Ryan, we're still waiting on the orange wire voltage with key out and in position 0.

Thanks dr.x. There is a lot of conflicting info on this site with regards to this code, such has its a bad maf, o2's vaccuum leak.... So you think it's injectors, an intake air leak or engine wear? That's what the link says. Does any of that freeze frame data give you any clues what it could be or is it useless information? I will test that orange wire but my main concern it is to be able to pass emissions within a month.

Shouldn't the fuel trim values be out of range to produce this code? What else should I try to monitor to figure this out. I am new to using diagnostic software. thanks

I do not know it, I just Googled it. Looks like a nice interface.

The code is for fuel trim on bank one as you already know. What may be causing it is beyond my ability to assess remotely.
