How about creating a how-to thread? Something like your site announcements that is easily accessible no matter when the last post was. Rather than allowing anyone to post to the thread, posts would be nominated to it and copied there manually (with a link to the original thread). Some posts to seed this thread with would be things like Juri's break-in instructions, JohnN's cleaning supply list, the impending brake change instructions, the countless other tutorial posts that I can't remember right now, etc. You may also want to change the subject of the post in case the context isn't clear. Feel free to email me if you want to work out some details offline.
1) I was able to get them at a reasonable price $117 frnt $95 rear

2) While they do dirty-up the wheels in about a weeks time, there was no noticeable wear on the rotors at all, they all were very smooth to the touch, and appeared to be able to make it through 3 pad changes, although MB usually states only 2...
Dave, your point #2 is exactly the reason why I wonder if I should stick to the stock pads (at least for the rears). Oh and of course there is the matter of having the MB dealer being able to do it rather than an aftermarket place. I'd rather have to pay for pads than for a rotor change!

However, the Porterfield pads appear to be very rotor friendly, so if my MB dealer is willing to put those on for me, I might try them out, at least for the fronts.
Personally I will not tolerate the dusting of the stock pads. I installed the Porterfields I got from www.**********.net and am thrilled. No brake dust whatsoever and they 'feel' better than the OEM. Total bill including shipping was $181 for both f/r. Worth it!! No sign of any rotor galling or grooving at all.
