Doors lock but don't Unlock with center console

Doors lock but don't Unlock with center console. I was thinking it may have been the console so I ordered a new one and replaced the old one 3 days ago. Still have the same problem, any idea of what I can do to fix this? I also still have the machine gun door locks.

I really dont want to go to a dealer and get Ripped!

I can unlock and lock with the remote, but the console wont unlock the doors, hatchback, or gas cap cover plate.

I think it may be the AAM.

You are not explaining yourself correctly. You say that the key remote locks and unlocks all the doors. Then you say that the central locking switch only locks the doors but doesn't unlock them.

Then you say that you still have "machine gun locks". Well when does the "mgl" take place..........during the key remote process or the central locking process?

Whatever the case may be, don't you think you should address the "mgl" issue first and then go from there?

Ok here goes.

• My truck has MGL's.
• But out of no where, the center console stopped being able to unlock the doors, back hatch, and gas lid, via the unlock button on the console. But it can still lock the doors, gas lid, and back hatch.
• I am able to manually unlock the doors and back hatch. But not the gas lid.
• I replaced the center console hoping that was the issue, but it wasnt.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
• The Key Remote is able to "lock and unlock" all doors, back hatch, and gas lid.

So I'm making a guess that since my key remote can lock and unlock all the things mentioned above, then the AAM must be faulty.

I am planning on replacing the faulty locks (actuators) to fix the MGL's.

My truck's locking system was fine the the MGL's started. Then a few days later I was unable to unlock the the doors at all with the center console button, but they locked fine with the Key Remote. i replaced the Center Console, but that wasnt the problem. Next up is the Actuators (Locks).

If that doesn't do it, It's the AAM next (I hope). I really like my truck a lot, and I know deep down that its not worth dumping money on a pretty vehicle. But I really like my truck, she's beautiful.

You didn't answer this question. When does the "machine gun locks" happen?

it happens when I use the console to lock the doors, and it happens when I use the Key remote to lock and unlock the doors.

The problem may very well be solved when the bad actuator is fixed. Bad actuators affect
the entire system. At this point I am of the opinion that the AAM is probably fine.
