Silver ML 320 2000 Color Code

I have a 2000 ML 320 and need to know the color code of the paint so I can order some. I just bought a body kit and need to get it painted and fitted.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Open your driver's door and look towards the bottom right.

There is a panel on the beam separating the driver's compartment from the rear passenger compartment.

The vehicle paint code is on there together with VIN and year of production.

You are absolutely correct. The 3 digit code after my VIN number was 744. Looking it up on google, turns out to be Brilliant Silver.

Thanks so much for your help!

I believe there are 5 or more versions of brilliant silver so make sure you get the formula for the brilliant silver used for 2000 vehicles.

Others can probably explain this better but as I understand it the formula for brilliant silver has been altered over the years so you might need to know if the formula-not just the number-is the one used on 2000 vehicles. Maybe I'm being to picky as to match up.

Mine is also 744 ( 2000 also) but I think when they alter it the number changes too.
