Wagner Thermoquiet Pads

I use these on my 1999 ML320, they have been excellent with good stopping power, good life (~50k miles), low dust and NO squeal.
I am getting a pair to have on hand for the next replacement.
MX875 Rear,
MX760 Front.

They are available at Rockauto.com (also go here to confirm compatibility).
I got a better price at Amazon.com, $89.54 there with free shipping, vs $95.31 shipped from RockAuto.com (where I got my last set).

$30 Rebate available through May here - two sets of great pads for $60.

I processed the rebate immediately using the Amazon receipt, so get a head start on the 10 week fulfillment period.

Hands down, the best brake pad on the market. I get close to 60k with a set of those. As a matter of fact, these MB pads that were put on my W164 during the CPO process, I'm thinking of removing them wheel dusting bast*rds and replace them with a set of Wagner Thermoquiet.

I agree with cmitch that they are great pads, but you guys have to get out of the habit of doing everything over the internet.

Wagner has been around for ages and they are sold at any local automotive parts store, much cheaper than the price you are paying, even after the rebate.

The last set I bought was in January for the ML430 that I sold. They were $72.00 from a Parts Plus auto store and no rebate was involved.

Just bought front and rears for my 02 ML320 so far so good! I got them at Advance Auto fronts were about $69 and rears were about $65 much better than the dealer quote for $177 for front pads and $128 for rear pads (yes parts only)!
Update: There was also a $30 rebate on two sets of pads and I just got it in the mail! (fastest rebate ever!)

Are the Wagner Thermoquiet pads better than Akebono Euro-ceramic pads?

I don't know. I've never tried them. I'm sure there are other pads that are just as good like the Raybestos Quiet Stops.

Ha ha.

As I read it the rebate would work on a purchase from a store also.

Just for the record, the front and rear pads came with one brake wear sensor for the each set of pads.
