Traction/ESP problem? Front left wheel

Gents,

I just went for a drive, at slow speed 1-5 mph the truck's front left wheel made that gurgle sound as if it lost traction, the traction control light also flashed. This was of course going very slow in a parking lot, traction was no issue. I turned ESP off and this still happened.

This happened a few times, while in reverse, also while driving very slow, any ideas? the traction contol ESP triangle did flash and the truck had an audible noise just like you lost traction. It seemed specific too the front left wheel.

I'm due for front rotors and brakes but cant see how that would cause this.

Most likely your wheel speed sensor is bad or contaminated.. Since you are chaning rotors/pads, you will be able to access the wheel sensors and maybe change them.. There are some posts around of people who had done it...
