Ordering Monroe Front Shocks, What else do I need?

I am ordering Monroe Front shocks for my 2001 ML55 AMG but I have seen some people needed some kind of install kit or something for these. Can someone let me know if this is still needed? Ill probably order them from autoanything.com

Just fitted monroe shocks on 43sqd advice and everything seemed to be in the box but we pay 3 times as much over here so it should be.Fitted BOGE struts to the rear today
because they were the only ones i could get non genuine here so i hope there good, feels like a new car to drive the rears were in a lot worst condition than the front.

Matt what model and part numbers were your rear BOGE struts..?

I am beginning to have to increase the pressure on my rear tires to compensate for the wear on my rear struts, and thus, I am sacrificing the smooth ride and the shock tuning at higuer speeds..

Thanks,

Andre

Thanks! I wonder if its possible to get those replacement rear boge struts here in the US without ordering the full assemblies with the springs as the OEM units come. Although I have a 55 not a 430...

Sorry Dogger, it's a completely different setup on the rears for us. It's OEM or Bilstein.

(And believe me, I'm typing this hoping that somebody is going to log on and tell me I'm wrong.)

Got the part no. hope it helps, BOGE turbo 36-E01-A. this is the strut only they are made in germany if that helps. There were no auto shops over here that could get me rear struts i got them through a benz mechanic. Cost $ 273 each.
Make sure you have a good press if you do them yourself. Pretty happy with them after driving around with them for a couple of days but any would be better than what i had. Goodluck.
