Driver side window wont close.... motor or switch???
Hi- My driver side front window has been slow for the past few days. At first I thought it was the switch, so I took it out and followed the instruction on how to fix it, but with no success. I'm starting to think it's the motor now. The window goes down fine but not up. Any suggestions? Is it the motor or the window? Is it difficult to take the door panel off to replace the motor? It's down now, and I hate having to cover it with a plastic bag! Thanks.
Why motor? Switch reverses polarity of current going to the motor to make it turn one way or the other. If it goes one way then motor is fine. Replace switch group and then check current consumption.

Indulge me Witek.
Isn't it possible the motor has become weak and is okay when coming down, with the help of gravity, but not so strong when trying to raise the window?

My window is coming up at a slight angle would that be the regulator? Seems kind of slow but like its grabbing in the front. I lubed it up with litium grease I had and didnt change anything. The inner part of the door that the regulator is riveted to flexes quite a bit going up or down like its working pretty hard. It doesnt always seal at the backside as I can hear air as I go down the highway and have to push the window backto stop it.
