How much should an A service cost?

Im bringing my truck in for the power steering recall on thursday and was thinking of getting an A service done. Sovereign Mercedes in Brooklyn, NY wants $270 for an A service. I had a B service done at Ray Catena in New Jersey about 16 months ago and an oil change in between. I only put 10,000 miles on the truck in that time. Ray Catena charged $289 for the B service but it wound up being about $700 with all the extra work I had done. I had just bought the truck and wanted to make sure it was perfect. Was just curious what these services cost in other parts of the country. Thanks.

$270 is closer to the cost of the B service. My dealer charged $469 for the A service. I do my own A & B service now.

I never done A/B services at the dealer except when it was covered under the 50K warranty which includes services. Indp shop charge $160. I just did a Transmission services at the dealer which cost me $350. I had other warranty work, 2 motor mount, transmission line leak which also broke the radiator.

Are there any computer warnings that need to be reset? I'm due for Service A in 26 days. What happens on day 27 to the idiot warning?
