ML500 Power Steering leak

hey all,

Tonight i had the power steering line split or leak, not to sure yet until i take a look, its using a lot of fluid and as soon as you turn the wheel it spues out. It leaks down under the front axle just to the right side ( drivers side) near cv's, has anyone had he same issue or can help???

Please update your profile in USER CP to include the year and model of your truck.

It could be any number of things..........the pressure line, the return hose, the reservoir, O-rings. You will have to narrow it down a little. But whatever it is, do not continue driving it, you will ruin the pump in no time.

can't say for certain but it sounds like what you're describing is the power steering hoses torn or lose connection. have a mechanic check asap.

I had that problem too.The dealer at any MB can fix that for free.It was a recall from the Mercedes company,like 2 years ago.Go fix it and do not pay a dimme.
