When we put the ML in reverse and use the brakes, I get this nice squeal. Is there a correction for this issue or is this just normal?

I have about 13k miles on the truck to date and it has been flawless (aside from the creaky windshield problem -- see another post on this topic).

Tx.
Have the same problem with my 02 ML500. Ots been in twice for this and going back again on Tues. First time they complied with the MB bulletin, second time they resurfaced the rotors and scuffed the pads. This time they will replace the rotors and pads. Each time it was OK for a day or so then began again
My '01 ML430 squeal when put in reverse as well....
My SA told me the problem is common in ML and S class. I'm bringing mine in soon so they can change the rotor and brake pad? ...will let everyone know the result when done.
