po446 and po221 need a bit of help...

I did search and couldn't find anything. So I started a new post.
I just got my codes pulled and I got a po221 and po446.

po221 - TPS Throttle Position Sensor or APP Accel. Pedal position.
anybody ever had this problem?

po446 - EVAP Evaporative Emission System purge/vent solenoid circuit condition.
any suggestions or repair help?

I just cleaned the MAF and the car runs a lot better but I don't think those two codes have anything to do with the MAF correct me if I'm wrong .

I mean all I'm looking for is did anyone have a problem with those two codes and what was your solution for them.

Read this thread about code P0446 where I supplied information on the location and replacement of the Evap Shut Valve.

Code P0221 is a new one to me, but it does not only relate to the Throttle Pos. Sensor, but many other parts including the brake switch, ESP and so on.

After you replace the Shut Valve, clear all codes and see if Code 221 returns, and post back with findings.
