Has anyone in the forum attempted to add the two passenger seats in their cargo space?
I was told by Autonbahn in Belmont CA that only ML's made in 2000 - 2002 had the two rear cargo passender seats available / made. All other years, the seats will not fit in them even if you purchased the brakets & kits.
For 98-99 models there are different part numbers from the 2000-2005 models. Now why they are different I have no idea, but they might not bolt up in the same locations, so be careful in what you buy. Do some homework.
They will fit any year 98-05. The main difference is that the 2002 and later ones use different grabhandles and storage clip due to the curtain airbag. I have a 2002 and installed the 3rd row out of an 01. Time consuming and not for the faint at heart but completely possible. Make sure you get the side mount brackets and seatbelt with whatever set you buy.

sickness: any problems or obstacles to look out for when trying to install the brackets? I have covers where the hinges are & will have to get new pillar covers to accomodate the seatbelts...thanks!
