Anyone know of a wire that is a ACC/switched power inside the trunk hatch?

Looking to tap for 12V switched and a ground inside the actual trunk hatch for a rear facing camera hooked into my D3. I want to have access to it while I drive just in case for a trailer. The power requirements should not be all that high at all, should be low amps. Everything else is run, just need to supply it power. I know I can run a wire from inside the trunk, but I would prefer to have power from from inside the hatch so its not ANOTHER wire running into the back hatch.

I believe most cameras built for that application use a 3 or 4 wire bundle that includes power, video and ground, so your 12VDC connection should be back at the D3.

It has a pigtail with video, audio, power and ground that stays in the trunk. You then run video and audio to the D3. So I would like to tap for power and found inside the trunk hatch somewhere. Otherwise I will go to my subs in the trunk if I need to.

For future reference I found a wire that supplies 12V switched on the hatch itself... it is the orange wire coming off what looks like the rear glass antenna. There is a small black box with what looks like a COAX connector, and just above is a orange wire on a quick release tab. I tapped that, and grounded to the center ground point on the hatch. The camera works great.

For those interested it is an Audiovox license plate frame color camera. It is sold at BesyBuy- could not find it online, but they have it in the stores. Found it online for less then $90. Model CMOLF
