I am going to sound rude here but let me ask again if anyone has done this. I appreciate everyones opinions but I need expertise here. I have the head unit out of the vehicle and the wiring diagram for the unit. I have also removed the amp. There are speaker wires, power, ground and fiber optic to the amp. Does anyone have the wiring diagram from the amp to the speakers. I have to bypass the amp or install an aftermarket 4 channel that will handle a 2 ohm load. Noone on this forum in the last week has been able to provide the wiring "pins" for the amp. I have been sent pictures of what the amp looks like duh, The wiring diagram from Wolfgangs site for the head unit "awesome" but I still can't finish this job without that diagram. Can someone please step up and provide me with some info here I am begging. If you have done the job, share your expertise, if you just want to bs or show pictures of your car, some other time. I know I sound nasty here but I am desperate for help please!!!!!!!
Ok, you can wire the headunit directly to the speakers (at the amp). The headunit wants 4 ohm speakers...the bose are 2 ohm. It will work, but IMO It doesnt sound that good and you can barely use any bass (you are going to lose your underseat sub).
For the time being, get the headunit installed and find the speaker wires at the amp (left front, right front, left rear, back rear) and get speaker wire to splice them into the head unit (4channel). The factory amp is worthless now.
You dont need any diagram at this point. Just find the wires coming out of the amp and splice into them. Have the head unit hooked up with the wire leads extended...get under the dash and start connecting them. You will hear what door speaker goes with each wire.
