I really don't like the chrome in the newer headlight housings. They seem to look fine in MLs that have more chrome overall (door handles, hatch opener, grill) but seem to look misplaced in the older no-chrome models. My silver 2000 ML320 has a tonka truck look that would not look very good with the new projectors. That being said, I do like them on the newer models with more chrome. I don't know if the projectors have better lighting performance. If so, I would keep them.
