02 Headlights installed with a couple of snags and a word of caution.

First off the headlights were very easy to install and look great. Problem found only after install because I did not take the time to inspect order carefully. The drivers side light were you attach the trim piece to was broken off. I will see what Performance will do. Next adjusting the aim. Make sure you have the right size allen wrench. I have a dozen but none of them fit. Does anyone know the correct size?

William you can use a phillips screwdriver...(more)

If you look into the hole, the top part is a hex and if you look with a flashlight into the adjustment screw, you'll see a cross shaped engravement. You can use a phillips screwdriver, I've done it to mine with a screwdriver. Be carefull though, the plastic is sensitive, you can strip it easily.

Yes, did 3 years with the US Army in the late 60's. You should get yourself a plate. The fees are very low and they help Cal Vets.

Looks great, William. Yeah, that plastic tab that you mentioned is very fragile. You're not the first one who has received a lamp with it broken. It all has to do with packaging it properly and cushioning that area sufficiently. Make sure that you tell Performance Products about this.

Drew, forgot to add that your instructions along with Iwan's were on the mark.

ATTN.DREW or anyone else who can help me?

I bought the lights from some place else and it didn't come with the adapters,I wanted to know how to hook them up without them.Performance told me they don't sell them alone.

Re: ATTN.DREW or anyone else who can help me?

Are these the halogen lamps that we're talking about? If they don't sell the adaptors separately, you'll probably have to do what Chris K. did, and rewire the existing plug so that it will work.
