'03 100k Mile Dbl-Wrench

ML500--running super (and on super): it's the race car of 2.5 ton S U Vs. $500 for 16-spark plugs, installed (seemed to have improved the gas mileage). Also upped for new gas and air filters. I was told it would go another 100k, which wouldn't surprise me: it burns less than a half-quart of synthetic between 11-12k mile tune-ups.

I just did my 100K tune up on my 320. Which plugs did you use? I used Bosch Icon. After going full synthetic I have noticed that the engine does burn less oil. As much as people b$#@h about these SUV's, mine is perfect. No issues at all. The parts are expensive, but hey, its a Mercedes.

I would love to have the new ML AMG series. I guess I need to wait for a used one to come around. My 2001 listed for 47K, we bought it two years ago for 21K.

What would you suggest for a cheap upgrade to my exhaust? The factory muffler is huge.
