The fiber optic cables run from the CD changer to the HU and from the HU to the amplifier. The cables to the speakers are standard wire.
HAy guys,
i dont not see speakers wires behind the mcs, where is the amp located??
when you say standard wires, from the amp to the speakers are standard??
I do not need to use the cd changer anyways...
technically we can replace the factory amp and exchange with a aftermarket amp and run rca from the new hu to the amp where ever its located RIGHT??

If thats the case i would not need to rewire the whole truck....
new hu (strada) to new amp (JBL) to speakers uhm sounds easy to me now

I agree with joe
Ps. Lets get a double din section started!

I will be taken pics on my install and do a step by step

OK Guys I stand corrected I went to pick up my truck from my installer today and asked him about what harness he used and he said that he had to bypass the bose amp and it was running off the HU built in amp he also told me that he used the HU amp to run the sub not exacually sure how but he said something about using a positve form 1 rear speaker and the negative from the other could be wrong will get this clarified tomorrow when i pick up my truck I had him put the JL Audio 500/5, 5 channel amp that i got I was impressed with the sound comming from the HU i am hoping that the sound wirh the amp blows me away I will post my pics tomorrow BTW the new Kenwood DNX7120 is fantastic super fast ipod including ipod video and great nav features found 9 out of 10 of the POI's i searched this unit IMO is a far better option than the Pioneer Z2

Sounds cool! You are going to love that AMP. Post pics in the double din thread when you get it back.

Thanks,

Joe
