12V aux outlet under glovebox stopped working.

Hi All,

Back with another question. I had my satelite radio plugged into the 12V aux outlet under the glovebox and one day it just up and quit working. I am using the lighter in the ashtray for now, but it looks a mess.

I searched everywhere in the fuse box index to see what fuse controls that outlet, and it completely eluded me. The rear aux was identified but not the front! Who here knows which fuse controls the front aux outlet.....or any other ideas for a fix.

Thanks again for all the help! When it warms up a bit I will get to cleaning under the front wiper cowl to try to eliminate my leak!

OH my, I did a bit of searching in the archives and didn't realize there is a fuse box on the passenger side footwell area....I guess I will check that in the morning! It does pay to search!

Same issue I am having. I thought it was F1 but when I opened up the fuse box there was no fuse in it.

I have the same problem. It stopped working while I was using one of those mini tire inflators.

I've checked all the fuses in both fuse boxes and they're all still good.

For 2001 and above, it is fuse #6 in the right side foot well. If the fuse is not blown, you have burned out the contact in the socket and needs replacement.
