on my drivers side when i go over a hump or bump in the road, i hear this like knocking or not quite thumping noise sound i suppose, but not all the time. you cant feel anything while driving it, but you hear that it is something in the suspension. you think its my torsion bar or the plastic or what? it started around when it started to get cold here and i thought it was something just due to the cold. should i have it checked out? the truck is under warranty.
It may well be the same problem I had or your torsion bar bushings or stabiliser bar bushings Bigburgundy.
Like you, it didn't happen all the time; only sometimes when the vehicle was rocked from side to side from undulations in the road or whilst riding on rough/unpaved roads.
Have a person lie under the vehicle as you rock it from side to side and see if they can isolate the sound to a certain area or part.
