HID's work fine in the older style lights. It does not throw the beam all over the place and blind oncoming traffic. Its not ideal, compared to the newer lenses but it still works fine.

So I can buy a H7 xenon kit and it should work fine without any modifications and will not blind oncoming traffic?

im assuming he is basing that off of experience, so I would say yes, you will need to make sure the kit includes the ballasts, ignitors, etc. and youll be fine, should be pretty easy.

Hey pointmant, do you have any pics on a garage or something of the beam patter?
