Replacing headlight bulbs please help me!

Both bulb covers have a "locking tab". It should be very easy to remove. The difficult part (for me) was to lock the bulb in place. Make sure to use the Halogen bulbs from recommended manufacturers. A shop once installed made in China and lasted a month!

Which headlight bulb is burned of your car?I think it can not take one month for you in China.It can not take you more time.

Where do you download the manual? Sorry by I am very new and own a 1998 ML-320 (AKA W163)

Call 800-367-6372, and for $17 plus tax, Mercedes will mail one to your home.

$20 for a pair of bulbs
latex gloves (oils from your hands will cook on the surface of the bulb causing it to overheat & pop)
turn on the lights that needs replacing
go out and take a mental note which one needs replacing
turn off the lights
pop off the plastic covers that cover the bulbs behind the lenses
carefully wiggle off the wire to the bulb
unclip the bulb off the housing
replace w/ new bulb & reverse directions for re-install & check
(repeat if needed to the other bulb)
