If you're going to get 33" tires you better raise your ML first. I have 33's and I raised the front 3" and the rear 2". The tires make the ML much more capable off road. Just remember it's no Jeep or Land Rover though. I also installed a wench just in case...

Hey Rudedude,
Got to get me a wench as well! Did you install her in the passenger seat? ;-)
But seriously, what's involved in raising the front and rear? Is it a workshop adjustment or custom fittings? Have you noted any difference in on-road performance?

Cheers..
Yeah the wench gets out and pushes when I get stuck... JK, I meant to say winch. The front is easy to raise. Just jack it up off the ground and tighten the tortion bars evenly. You can get about 3" to 4" from that. The rear is a little harder, I made spacers similar to the ones I saw on wolfgangsml web site. I tried to order a set but the link didn't work so I just made them.
It drives differently on road but I can still cruise @ 85 to 90 no problem. Just remember the speedo is going to be off about 10% so 70 mph is really about 77 mph with the 33" tires.
Don't have any pics. But I take mine off road as much as possible. I tell the wife that I need to drive it off road to use the low range and get the oil flowing in the transfer case (haha).
I've got some 285/75R17 B.F>Goodrich AT's waiting in the garage til I can make a lift like rudedude did.
