Question HOW TO REMOVE INTERIOR WOOD TRIM???

I want to remove my wood trim pieces from around the MCS unit, and the shifter console so that I can polish them... Im guessing once removed I can clean them well with warm soapy washcloth, dry, then buff with a polish wax... I read somewhere before on how to remove these 2 trim pieces, but I lost the link... any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

No idea about the MCS. But the center console is removed by first removing the center armrest bin. Once that is out, just lift up on the wood and it all comes off. Takes minutes to do.

I can't imagine how dirty these items could be that would necessitate their removal to clean them. This is where breakage comes into play and they are expensive items to replace once they crack. But if you must, here are the instructions.

These peices do seem to dull pretty easy...I used some synthetic wax on them today and then polished...while they were on the car...

Good luck and let us know

Regular dusting and using Pledge has kept mine looking brand new.
