License plate screw(s)

Can anyone tell me what size/length screw I need to hold in my plates (U.S.)? I lost 2 and need to replace them. Thanks.

They are standardized accross all MB models. I don't know the measurements but I went to the dealer and they gave them to me for free when I got new plates. They didn't even ask for the model. Took them home and sure enough, perfect fit. Hopefully the dealer is close to you in VA as this is really the easiest way to go.

I took one of my bolts out and took it to the hardware section of home depot. I tried different nuts until I knew which thread I had and then bought bolts. I don't remember what size they were, but it was easy enough to do.

Actually yeah, my dealer also supplied them free of charge. Any time I've needed screws, I get them for free. (and yes, I see the irony in this statement)

I tried that and thought I had picked up the right size but :-( That's why I asked.

BUMP

I just got my car from a dealership and the back side of the 320 is as naked as the day it left the factory.

I don't want to just get any old screws from Home Depot and would really appreciate it is someone could measure the length and width of the screws so I can get some appropriately size machine screws? (unless there are better thoughts out there)

Thanks!

Just like the other mentioned, I went to the dealership and they gave me a bunch. Did you ask the parts dept for them?

Unfortunantly the closest dealership is an hour's drive away. I guess I will just bite the bullet and ask them to mail them to me.
