please help me. i bought a 03 or 03 dvd navi for my mcs system.it won't read the dvd 2004.1 but it will play a music cd.the screen says erroe check dvd disk the dealer tried a 2006.2 disc and it didn't work either.
Normally an older disk wont even work after a new version has been inserted. The software updates and the old DVD will never work again in that drive. Try cleaning the dvd lense with a DVD system cleaner from Walmart.
