replace instrumet cluster bulb - Benzworld.org

Anyone have the instrument to remove the instrument cluster to replace a burn out bulb. It's under warranty, but I rather do it my self for few dollars.. then make an appointmet then drive down to the dealer, wait for the car.. Takes an entire day.

Left bulb is burn out near the fuel guage.

If one of the illumination bulbs are out, the part number is #001 544 5594, they are 12v/2w, three required. If one of the telltale bulbs are out, the part number is N910141 000000, they are 12v/1.5w.

If the bulb that is out is for illumination get all three and replace them at the same time. Get them from the dealer and no where else because they have to be the correct wattage.

my mileage/fss light is out (center), does this apply too?

If you get three of each you won't have a problem.

thanks for all the help.
I went to the dealer today and got two bulbs(the smaller one). the guy said I my ml takes total of 29 small bulbs and 2 larger bulbs(for turn signals). I got the smaller one because my turn signals are fine.
when I took the cluster out it is the larger bulb that is blown. I should have taken it apart before I when to the dealer. So for the larger bulb, I when to a local store and got a couple of 194bulb. I changed the 2 larger bulb(194) same time and they work fine.
the smaller bulbs are 12v1.5w. $6.50/each from dealer.
the larger bulbs (194) 12v2w. $2.39/pair from lacal store.

how did u remove the cluster to gain access to the bulbs? I need to change my fss/mileage indicator light
