Legitimate chip/reprograming runs a bit under $400.
The "add-on chips" whatever they say just trick the system to run a big richer across the spectrum..or you can get the "pedal accelerator" which tricks the pedal into doubling fuel delivery for same dgree of movement..
fabbrisd1 is 100% right
It will just trick the system to run a big richer.
I bought same kind of chip for 07 Mustang GT-what a joke
Throw it away, then i bought Diablo Predator Tuner from Diablo Sport-it work but i paid around $400
Choice is yours ))

your engine is naturally aspirated. chip tuning will do nearly nothing. people who swear they feel any difference are fooled. But then, it's your money, spend it if it makes you feel better.

completely untrue...
i know the gains on N/A is not great compared to F/I...
however, there definitely is noticeable gain that you enjoy every single time u drive...
i already have ECU tuned on 2.6L N/A engine...
even my mom can notice the difference in gain...

Agreed. Proper chip tuning works. In fact, it's always the biggest gain that I've noticed on any of my tuned N/A autos. Cat-back exhaust tuning and intakes are another matter though. I never really felt any gains from those mods. Camshafts can be felt, but only in the top end of the RPM range.

Intake and exhaust can make a difference. But a properly tuned chip is the icing on the cake... especially to take full advantage of any other modifications.
