On my 2002 ML320 the rear heat/ac blower was working just for a few seconds every now and then [that means in just two instances in 2 months]. The sound of the blower is just normal [for the few seconds when is working !], then it just stops regardles what I'm trying to press on the combination switch for the rear ... The LED is working on it. I'm suspecting a bad resistor but I don't know where it is located and how do I access it. Is the same resistor that controls the front heat/ac blower controling the rear heat/ac blower as well? what is the PN?
Any ideea anyone ?
Remove the center console armrest and then the storage compartment. With that done you will be able to see most of what you have to and you will also be able to fiddle with the elec. connectors.
