Well it's been a week, and the display is still working great, dims with the dimmer, nothing fancy, just factory looks, beats $ 260.00 at the dealer... Again thanks for the great info, cheers

so how exactly do I get the upper console off? would not want to break it by prying too much in all the wrong places - my display is pretty dimm and ahrd to read even during the day.
