can dual exhaust be added to 98 ml320

my muffler/pipe bender said no!

you can have dual tailpipes. In fact I happen to have a brand new weltmeister dual exhaust for sale.

You can have "dual tailpipes" but not true dual exhaust which comes from individual manifolds. I think the OBD would have a panic attack trying to mix proper diagnostics.

If you are in California it is illegal for a muffler shop to install dual exhaust on a vehicle equipped with single exhaust. He is covering his ass. He could loose his BAR Auto Repair Dealer lisence for doing that kind of work.
