SHOCKS QUESTION

Does anybody know or have any experience that if you put the 2003 and up ML350 shocks on 1998 ML320 do they fit and will it give you a more confortable and smoth ride.I read an article at wolfgangs ML Page that the newer ML versions have a more smoth ride and the shocks are updated. For those who have Bilsteins on their ML is the ride the same or more stiffer.

I replaced my OEM front shocks with bilsteins. To me they feel about the same.

I just put Bilsteins all around on my 98 ML320 and I couldn't be happier. Feels like new (actually better than new). The suspension now feels tight and responsive. Although stiffer, it's not a rough ride at all. Feels pretty comfortable.

Hi sbarker, how much are those bilsteins and do you know if they are the same front shock on a 2000 ml430 ?
