PO304 - Cylinder misfire on #4

did search but there was no indication on how hard or easy for the DIY. Thinking of changing all the sparkplugs, plug wires, whatever included in the Tune-ups (please let me know for parts) by myself. Any more tips on the these.

You turn the wire back and forth while pulling it until it pops out.I recommend u take the coil out of the engine its more easy.

Also try a 17mm open end wrench. Place it around the metal shielding and use it to pry off the wire.

I just changed my plugs two weeks ago. It took me about three hours and a few cuts and bruises.
Actually there is a forum on changing plugs right here with diagrams and everything. I just forgot the link but I used it to change mine.

Hi dew,

first of all, try to replace it with oem spark plugs
remove all the ignition coils on the driver side of the engine for extra access space
use 17mm open wrench to pull the spark plug cables off the plugs
use a pivoting and angled socket wrench to loosen the spark plugs
replace all the cables with new ones
take your time and make sure you put the cables in the right way. The drivers bank and the passenger side does not have the same pattern.

Very BIG Thank you. I will follow your advice. But you forgot one thing - have some COLD beers on the side.
