I put a sign in my truck and put it out in the Home Depot parking lot while workin in paint Wed. I got 4 calls the first day about it. I got a call today and went out and talked with the guy and he bought it for $4,700. My truck has 223,650 miles on it. CEL is on, its not emissions legal yet and many little things like the hatch lock dont work. He didnt check that or seem to care. Hes sending it overseas. Im giving him the title tomorrow after I get off work. Im definately gonna miss this truck. Good luck everyone with your trucks...

overseas...hmm....make sure the check clears for at least a couple days...
Same thing with mine. I sold it to an exporter to Jordan.
You might want to consider doing the following. It is what I did:
Open a new bank account and deposit the check into it. Once it clears, transfer the money to your regular account. I did this at the suggestion of my bank. Apparently, there have been cases of the money being "pulled back" (their term) once the vehicle was picked up.

Why not ask for cash? Seems easier to do the transaction that way. Go to his bank, have him cash a check and hand you the cash. You hand him the title.

it was cash. all of it. i wouldnt have accepted a check for the vehicle ive had a couple family members have problems with that.
really he did get ripped off for what he got. CEL was on. It needs a new o2 sensor and the other code was that secondary air injector. mercedes indy told me everything was running fine it was somewhere in the computer wasnt registering. dealer wanted three hours to diagnose in the computer and no telling how high it would get from there. Also, rear wiper only works certain times after closing the rear gate. and the rear lock doesnt work unless u manually lock it. and the cd player is on its last couple breaths. and the antenna doesnt work anymore and its not a simple loose connection its a hack job by Circuit City when my grandfather had XM installed and they messed all that up. And the roof was the only body panel that had no scratches or chips. Every door panel rattles with bass.
I think i made out well on this deal. cash and a receipt and i have nothing to do with it. So he can ship it wherever he wants, ill go back to my accord that has only needed a a/c recharge, no other problems
