This morning for the first time something felt wrong. Was driving along normally when i felt a slight decrease in pwr. When i stopped at the red light I felt a little shaking, light turns green and the truck begins to make a low stuttering/ sputtering sound with loss of pwr...felt as if it was going to turn off. when i parked and restared to appear to be there anymore but havent driven since.
I not very mechanically inclined but i thought it may be the spark plugs.

...occur on my 2003 ML350. Run a search on the forum (keywords "hesitation") and you'll see some suggestions on how to address this issue including asking the dealer about an ME control flash upgrade( see http://tinyurl.com/3cylyx )
I just realized something. I have had my alternator replaced a few weeks ago and haven't experienced the hesitation yet. There is a Mercedes TSB on faulty volt-regulators on some ML's with BOSCH alternators. Again, run a search and you'll see the thread and document. If you are under warranty (extended), you might want to bring it in and have them check that too.
