I have a 2000 ML320 with 110K miles on it. I have had to replace the mass airflow sensor, crank position sensor, brake light switch all within the last 6 months because they all started to fail. I will need new torsion bar bushings soon since one bushing is already gone. Is there any other fixes that I should expect soon?
Thanks to all, this forum has helped me diagnose all my ML320 problems.
Catalysts, A/C compressor, purge valves, plugs (assuming that they were done around 60K which appears to be the norm)
We have done all of the above + tires on my wife's '99 (118K miles) over the past three months - something north of $5K on a car that is worth, perhaps, $9-10K.
Had I known 4 months ago that this was all coming, someone else would own it now!
Did you check all the recalls? Harmonic balancer, very important.
Torsion bar bushing or sway bar bushing?? The one going the length of the car or the front bar sitting in front of the wheels?
