after installing new cats, 02 sensor heater circuit codes on both sensor 2s

Hello! I had my cats changed and like 4 days later, I get a CEL and the codes are p0141 and p0161, so I know its both 02 sensors that are located after the cats. Is this normal? Did the new cats do this? Or should I just replace both 02 sensors? Anyone?

streetglower , youre right , one of the 02 sensors downstream was loose, but the one on the driver side was intact. Do I replace the drivers side?

If you do get the O2 sensor codes again, change them. If they were bad in the first place, they would have caused your ML to run rich. This could have caused the damage to the cats.

I found a secret to clearing the codes without waiting for the cycles and the 30 minutes like somebody on the forum posted. A benz technician told me this, to clear codes without the code reader, all you gotta do is disconnect your negative wire on your battery and then with your car key, turn your ignition to on but not start for 15 seconds and leave it there. After 15 seconds, take off your key, connect the negative wire and presto, the code is erased. Now dont forget guys you got it from me LOL
