Yes the fuse had blown as you had correctly indicated. Just replaced it and did nothing else and the system worked first time! Cheers

Hmmmm...intersting thread.

Question for you guys...When I went to lock the car this afternoon, all the doors will lock except the rear passenger door. I'm wondering if it's a sync issue or a fuse issue? Has anyone ever had only one door not lock when using the remote? Seems kinda weird.

Yes, it's a known issue. You will have to replace the lock actuator on the rear door.

Yeah, I had read about it a couple years ago but didn't know if it was common for only one lock to go crazy. I thought I remembered that they all went at once. Thanks for the heads up. Any suggestions for the best place to buy the part?

Have you tried this.
With 2 of the doors in the lock position and the other 2 in the umlock position.
take out the cetral locking fuse, manually lock the unlocked doors, then reconnect the fuse. Then try the remote on them.
This is just a wild hunch, I have never seen this problem on any of my cars with central locking.

Hey, thanks for your help with this. After living with it for quite a while, I went back to my original post to see if I received any replies.

I saw your post and yes, the fuse was blown after all.

I find it hard to believe (but do) that the locks would go up and down, the relays would cycle, actuators worked etc. while the fuse was blown.

Man, if nothing worked the fuse would have been the first thing to check.
