ML430... As I looked at your last set of pictures, I couldn't help but to think of Snoopy from Peanuts! It started to solidify in my mind around picture #7.

That looks like so much fun! I definitely want to do it sometime.

How deep was the water? I think the manual says the fording depth of the ML is about 24".

there were 5 or 6 water crossngs on that trail and probably the deapest one got close to 20 inches. looking at the pictures made it look a lot less scary than it us in the car. however, i don't have any shots in the deaper sections. i think it was over the rims, if not the tires and definitely over the bumber.
