Cleaned MAF... ML430 hesitant in morning!!!

Good Morning.

I cleaned the MAF... of my 01 ML430 however I just returned from Europe. Got in the car started and after pulling out of the driveway my ml started to hesitate... a few seconds and started bucking as if it were getting fuel than not... after a few seconds of this say 15-30... problems went away truck was running fine. I have noticed this prior to cleaning the maf occasionally.. any suggestions?

MAF's are not made to be cleaned. They are in fact consumable parts. Cleaning can do more damage than it cures. Replace the MAF and replace it with the correct MB part. MAF's are quite delicate and must not be handled roughly.

Is your Check Engine light on? If so, then what are the codes? You can have them read at most auto parts stores for free.
